Valley Sanitary District received the Community Engagement & Outreach: Project of the Year Award for their exhibit at Coachella Valley History Museum showcasing the history of wastewater solutions, from outhouses and septic tanks to current treatment processes and future projected types of advanced wastewater treatment for Indirect and Direct Potable reuse.
The award was presented by the California Water Environment Association (CWEA) Colorado River Basin Section (CORBS).
