EXPLORE Young At Art Summer Art Camps are designed for children ages 8 to 14 who want to discover and develop their creativity.

SUMMER CAMP

A creative and inspiring program where young artists can learn, experiment, and express themselves through art. Designed for children ages 8 to 14, this summer experience encourages creativity while introducing students to a variety of artistic styles and techniques.

Through hands-on projects and guided instruction, campers will explore new materials, develop their skills, and have fun creating art in a supportive and engaging environment.

About the Program

EXPLORE Young At Art Summer Art Camps are open to children ages 8 to 14. This creative program encourages young artists to explore their imagination while learning new artistic skills in a fun and supportive environment.

Creative Weekly Projects

Each week of the program focuses on a different visual art form, giving students the opportunity to experiment with a variety of methods and materials such as Drawing Basics, Clay, Watercolor, and Multi-Media Art. Campers learn through hands-on projects designed to build creativity, confidence, and artistic expression.

Choose from two classes offered each week:

Week 1: June 15-18
Monday - Thursday | 9:00-11:30 am
Drawing/Painting Class or Ceramic Class

Week 2: June 22-26
Monday - Friday | 9:00-11:00 am
Multimedia Class or Ceramic Class

Drawing/painting class — Learn drawing techniques with perspective, pencil, and charcoal. Experience color with watercolor and acrylic paint projects.

Ceramic class — Hand-build ceramic projects using pinch pot, coil, and slab techniques.

Multimedia class — Work with various mediums, including acrylic pours, printmaking, paper mache, oil pastels, glass, and sand.

Final Art Reception

The summer program concludes with a special Art Reception where students and their families can celebrate the season’s creativity. During this event, student artwork will be displayed for all to admire.

Reception will be held Sunday, July 12, at 1:30pm. Families are invited.
