EXPLORE Junior Historians is a dynamic afterschool program designed for children ages 8 to 11 who are curious about the world around them.

Students “travel” across different countries and cultures while discovering history, traditions, and stories from around the globe. Through fun and engaging hands-on art projects, kids learn creatively while building curiosity, imagination, and a deeper appreciation for our unique and amazing world.

What Students Will Experience

Each class includes a creative art lesson, plus snacks, games, and fun activities designed to help students learn while making new friends and exploring cultures from around the world.

Offline Registration

To register offline: Download the registration form below and email the completed form to Jr. Historians Director, Blair Karp, at jr.historians@cvhm.org. Or mail it to Coachella Valley History Museum at 82616 Miles Avenue, Indio, CA 92201.

To pay offline: Pay by phone with a credit card by calling the museum at 760.342.6651 during business hours. Pay by check made payable to “Coachella Valley History Museum” and mail it in with a copy of the completed registration form to Coachella Valley History Museum at 82616 Miles Avenue, Indio, CA 92201.
